EDIUS 11 features ProDAD Vitascene V5 EE (EDIUS Edition). Along with the proven effects of the previous version and the popular “Seamless Transitions”, Vitascene V5 EE introduces an impressive collection of new glitch effects and other innovations. These effects are designed for abrupt image changes, pixelation, color distortion, digital noise, frame skipping and more. Glitch effects are available both as transition effects and as in and out effects, making them also ideal for animating text panels and other graphics with an alpha channel.
There are over 100 “Seamless Transitions” which allow for particularly dynamic, organic, and flowing transitions. A high-quality motion blur can also be combined with a unique color shift effect.
Extensive presets make the effects easy and quick to use. If required, the intensity of the filters as well as the type of animation can be controlled via keyframes and tailored to the specific video material. This provides the user with new and flexible design options.
Just like the glitch effects, the seamless transitions also enrich the design options and are also ideal for dynamic titles and graphic animations.
Another powerful feature of Vitascene V5 is the fully automatic Picture Enhancer. Based on human perception, this 10-bit capable filter optimizes video material with just one mouse click. Color, brightness, contrast, and saturation are analyzed in several image quadrants and corrected if necessary. This filter is included in EDIUS 11, but not with EDIUS X.

Glitch effects
ProDAD Vitascene V5 Pro has grown in scope compared to the previous version by approximately 300 to around 1,700 effects and offers an extensive new effect category, the so-called “glitch effects”. You can apply these effects to simulate visual disturbances, both analog and digital. This allows adding a particularly dynamic touch to your editing projects. In ProDAD Vitascene V5 Pro, all the 300 or so new glitch effects are available to choose from in all variants. These include abrupt image changes, pixelation, color distortion, digital noise, and much more. Glitch effects can give videos a distinctive visual appeal and create an atmosphere of disorder, chaos, or retro digital aesthetics.

Further effects, filters, and tools
Vitascene V5 Pro also offers an entire range of proven ProDAD video filters and transition effects in top professional quality. This includes filters for the look as well as light filters for the subsequent illumination of a scene. This ranges from soft light accents and reflections to glistening light. Changes in color and brightness create a romantic or dynamic image mood. A spotlight effect can be used to emphasize details.
