Making Subtitles with Premiere Pro CC

Recently I had to make some subtitles for a video on YouTube – I normally just live with the basic auto generated titles since making subtitles is very tedious.  The YouTube subtitler was annoying so instead I tried to make the subtitles with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro CC.  Below is the Premiere method which works well and has better options than the Resolve method, although it is slightly more involved.
