New Intel processors available

Intel have released their latest range of processors. These new processors are i3, i5, i7 and i9 with a graphics card built in, which has Intel Quick Sync. Previously the 8 core i9 9900K was my favourite processor because it was reasonably affordable and Quick Sync gave very good performance with programs like EDIUS and Premiere Pro.

The new range’s top processor is the 10900k which is a 10 core processor, slightly faster and also packed closer together inside the chip.

As I do not make many systems any more I have not had a chance to play with this latest processor but all the results I have seen look quite good. Red Shark just posted quite a technical review of the new range:

As ever the new processors are not that much more expensive than the older ones.
