Grass Valley EDIUS X Pro – Home Edition – incl. support from DVC Training
The Home Edition of EDIUS Pro has all the same features as the normal Pro edition except:
- EDIUS Home is for private use only. If you need EDIUS for any professional work you must by a full version.
- EDIUS Home can only be activated on one machine at a time. Regular EDIUS can be activated on 2 machines, although you can only use one of them at a time.
- You cannot upgrade to EDIUS 11 (whenever it comes). If you want EDIUS 11 (or 12 etc) in the future you will have to pay full price, whereas with a regular version you get a considerable discount.
The Home edition does come with all the extra plug-ins such as Acon Audio and Vitascene, and will get free updates for the life of EDIUS 10.
